Library

The central library with 9206 books caters to the literary need of students and faculty members across nine departments. This collection consists of 3143 titles under various disciplines.  The reference section including encyclopaedias, Handbooks, dictionaries, Atlases sums up to 213 books. Additionally,  an exclusive collection of  books to prepare for competitive examination like TNPSC, UPSC, SSC, RRB, Bank Recruitment are also available.  The library also has subscriptions for different newspapers in Tamil and English, 10 journals and magazines for the benefit of the students.  Rs. 2,80,000- (Rupees two lakh eighty thousand only) was allotted for the academic year 2024-25 for the procurement of books for various departments. Taking a step further, career guidance and counselling assistance is also being provided to the students on a regular basis by the Librarian.
