ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
B COM (CORPORATE SECRETARYSHIP)-COURSE
Bachelor’s degree in B com (Corporate Secretaryship) is a full-time, regular, 3 year-long course in the branch of commerce. The whole study pattern is semester-based divided into major, core and elective subjects. In this branch of study, students are given in-depth knowledge in subjects like Financial Accounting, Company accounting, Company Law and Secretaryship Practice, Marketing / Corporate E-Management, Business Management, Industrial Laws, Income Tax Law & Practice, Indirect Taxes, Project (Institutions Training), Commercial laws and many more. The course is also designed to provide students with a wide range of secretarial practice skills and understanding various laws of company, banking and industrial to meet immediate growing needs for competent manpower in the corporate world.

(Master of Commerce), MBA (Master of Business Administration), MFM (Master’s of Financial Management) etc., and professional courses like CA (Chartered Accountant), CS (Company Secretary), CWA (Cost and Works Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), CFA( Chartered Financial Analyst), LAW(LLB), etc.

COURSE DETAILS
The duration of the course is three academic years:
- Each academic year is divided into two semesters. The first academic year comprises of the first and second semesters, the second academic year the third and fourth semesters, and the third academic year, the fifth and sixth semesters.
- The odd semesters consist of the period from June to November of each year and the even semesters from December to April of each There shall be not less than 90 working days for each semester.
