About the Department
The Department of Chemistry is one of the well established departments at the undergraduate level in our college. The UG Course B.Sc., Chemistry English medium was established in 2020 with sanctioned strength of 30.The Department ensures quality education with two qualified regular faculty members and three qualified Guest Lecturers who are actively engaged in teaching.
To upgrade the knowledge of the students and enhance their skills to meet the competitive world the “Chemistry club-Broken Atoms” is run by the Department of Chemistry. The club aims to plant the seeds of learning in young minds and to encourage them to nurture the seeds.
Our department organizes a seminar/workshop by inviting experts in our field on every academic year through Chemistry association to create awareness and make students to be in line with latest research and developments in the Chemistry.
To promote hands on training and to kindle the interest for the students our department also organizes industrial visit every year in tie up with industries related to Chemistry .
